i have given my toddle fish oil from the time he was about 8 months. i really think this is an excellent way to support brain function and provide a natura source of vitamin D. however, i don't agree with the above comment about using juice, unless it is freshly squeezed. research has found that processed sugar, including processed juices, depress the immune system. juice begin losing their vitamin content, the moment they are made. plus virtually all packaged juices are heat processed further reducing their vitamin content. many are rendered into a fruit syrup and reconstituted with water. as far as i'm concerned, there is no place for sugar in my toddlers diet!
