How-to: Communicating with Comatose People

Posted February 21, 2007, by drLove

Here's the situation: your loved one is comatose and near death, and you wish you could communicate with her. I believe you can! Here's how.

Ingredients:

  • a comatose loved one
  • ability to have that person hear your voice (e.g. you are present in the room, or the phone is held up to the person's ear)
  • an open heart and a desire of wanting the best for the comatose loved one

Steps:

  1. Put aside fear and sadness, if only for a few moments.
  2. Open your heart and speak loving words.
  3. Hold or touch your loved one if that is possible.
