How-to: Drinking carrot juice

Posted March 5, 2007, by drLove

Put a spring in your step and get high on nutritional goodness.

Ingredients:

  • a juicing machine
  • carrots
  • other vegetables like cabbage (for gut problems), celery, parsley (for kidney problems), ginger, spinach, beets, apple (if you want a bit of sweetness)
  • large glass

Steps:

  1. Use a juice extractor.  Any kind will do, however there are juicers like the Marathon Twin juicer and Kempo juicer that extract juice even more effeciently.
  2. Put your vegetables through the machine.
  3. Drink it slowly and savour the taste.
  4. Feel the sense of aliveness and energy you feel when the energy of the living enzymes of freshly pressed carrot juice permeate into your cells.

Juicing is an awesome way to improve our health, take whole natural vitamins, and get better energy. Choose organic when you can, especially for high-pesticide residue produce like apples and peaches.

2 LastDFer Last Worker *is* a Food Site -- but not in the way of regular food sites, and it's much much more than that. On this site, food and drink and the like are merely a kind of thing that we Intake into our Bodies. Sure, taste and presentation etc. are important. But on this site, the core question is: Does it improve our lives?
