How-to: Creating Beautiful Skin

Posted March 30, 2007, by drLove

Healthy skin isn't about lifting your face surgically or botoxing beautiful wrinkles. It's about skin that is well hydrated, vibrant and glowing.

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 litres of pure clean water
  • lots of organic fruits and vegetables
  • fresh outdoor air
  • vigorous exercise
  • 1/2 - 1 hour of daily sunlight
  • Flav Salve
  • lots of smiling and laughing

Steps:

  1. Drink 2 1/2 litres of pure clean water everyday.
  2. Eat 8 - 10 servings of organic fruits and vegetables daily.
  3. Get at least 1 hour of fresh outdoor air daily.  More is even better.
  4. Make sure you are having between 1 to 3 bowel movements daily.  (If your toxins don't leave through your bowels, your skin will take some of the brunt in order to help you eliminate toxins).
  5. Exercise vigorously enough to produce a sweat.  Do this for at least 1/2 an hour 4 - 5  times per week.
  6. Get some sunshine, enough to get some color in your face.  Don't burn or expose your face for prolonged periods as this can damage your skin.
  7. Get 7 - 8 hours of well rested sleep each night.
  8. Use Flav Salve daily.  Dr. Bishop N.D. developed this cream for the treatment of psoriasis and eczema.  I have found that it perks up the skin and gives it a glowing and "youthful" appearance, so this is why I use it and prescribe it.
  9. Smiling and laughing makes everyone's facial skin appear beautiful.

to randy1: You eat up all your vegetables, young man, or you're not leaving the table! Love, Mom

I hate vegetables! I know they are really good for me but I have not learned how to like then except for carrots with hummous - lots of hummous to hide the taste - HELP! But as for the smiling and laughing - that is such a great and simple observation that is so often overlooked and so often not done in our busy and constant lives.

I'm so sad to see how common plastic sugery is becoming. And how poor our acceptance is of our bodies. This is wonderful advice! Be beautiful by being healthy!
