How to remove ear wax?

Posted April 20, 2007

Sorry if this grosses you all out, but the last time I had the wax removed from my ears, George Bush's dad was a reasonably popular President. Back then, a doctor injected a stream of high pressure warm water in my ears and out popped ... well, I'll spare you the details.

Anyway, I'm interested in reading two Recipes if anyone has 'em. Maybe one will suffice. But, for the first, I like to hear how to remove this 18-year-old build-up. Can I do this safely and effectively at home, or should I see a doctor?

Second, after this backlog is removed, I'd like to read about a healthy regular maintenance program. You know, something I'd do after my nightly teeth cleaning regimen.

Thanks!

The best way to remove your ear wax is to have it flushed out by somebody who knows what they are doing with water (known as lavag...
