Natural remedies for toddler ear infections?

Today, our pediatrician said that our 1 1/2-year-old has an ear infection. The doctor recommended antibiotics for it. But we'd like to take a natural approach to help our baby fight off the infection.

Can one of you guys post a Recipe on steps we could follow to accomplish this? Thanks.
