Info on non-Hodgkin lymphoma, holistic medicine?

A friend of mine was recently diagnosed with 4th stage non-Hodgkin lymphoma and is under going chemo. One day he was working a full day, a few days later he was gearing up for chemo. He has an aweome attitude, and  a young child he is determined to see grow up. He is keen to try holistic medicine. Two questions:

--any suggestions on what he might do to help his body through the chemo;

--any suggestions on resources for holistic medicine for this type of cancer?

Holistic Support for Cancer and Chemotherapy

In addition to my other two responses, I'll point to an earlier Recipe of mine called "Drinking Carrot Juice" (http://holonation.com/recipes/27). Every patient whom I have ever treated with advanced cancer and has done extremely well (either complete cure or prolonged extension of quality living) has juiced daily.
